Dr. R. Scott Akins practices at our Live Oak center. Dr. Akins is a board-certified radiation oncologist. He completed his residency at the University of Miami and earned his medical degree from Texas Tech University. A U.S. Air Force veteran with over a decade of service, he held leadership roles including Assistant Chief of Radiation Oncology at SAMMC.
