Privacy Policy

How this website collects, uses and protects information.

About this policy

This policy explains how Mission Oncology Partners handles information collected through this website. It applies to this site only.

Medical information is different. Health information created or received in the course of your care is protected by federal law and is governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices, not by this policy. This website is not a patient portal. Please do not use the contact form, or email, to send medical details, test results, or anything you would consider private health information — neither channel is secure. Call your center instead.

Information you give us

When you complete a form on this site, we receive what you enter — typically your name, email address, phone number, preferred location and the reason you are contacting us. We use it to respond to you and to schedule care. You choose what to put in the message field; please keep it brief and non-clinical.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours records technical information each time a page is requested: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages viewed with their timestamps. This sits in server logs and analytics, and is used to keep the site working and to understand which content people need.

Cookies

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. This site uses them for two purposes: keeping the site functioning as you move between pages, and measuring aggregate traffic. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell information about you.

Every major browser lets you refuse or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking them will not stop you using this site, though some conveniences may stop working.

Services we rely on

A few third parties necessarily receive some visitor data in order to do their job:

  • Our web host, which stores the site and its server logs
  • Contact Form 7, which processes form submissions and delivers them to us by email
  • hCaptcha, which distinguishes people from automated spam on our forms
  • Google Maps, which renders the map of our locations

Each handles data under its own privacy terms. We do not give any of them permission to use your information for their own marketing.

How we protect information

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to form submissions is limited to staff who need it, and we keep submissions no longer than we need them to respond and to maintain our records. No system is perfectly secure, which is the reason for the caution above about medical details.

Your choices

You can ask us what information you have submitted through this site, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the contact below and we will respond within 30 days. Requests about your medical record follow a different process, set out in the Notice of Privacy Practices.

Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

Where we link to another organization — a hospital partner, a support resource — that site's own privacy policy governs what happens there. We have no control over how other organizations handle your information.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the page.
